Dennis Eugene Price, 64, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 12, 2014, as the result of a short battle with cancer. He was born September 7, 1949 in Alliance, Nebraska to Homer Keith and Willetta L. (Nicholson) Price. He was the baby of five children. On August 10, 1988 he was united in marriage to Linda (Green) Price in Rupert, Idaho and spent many years as a devoted husband and grandfather. He served in the U.S. Army and spent time serving over in the Vietnam War. His service of duty was from September 7, 1966 to 1969. He obtained numerous awards for his time of service in the Vietnam War. Dennis worked at Dayco and as a farmer before joining N.T.C. as a delivery truck driver where he retired in 2010. He is survived by his wife Linda; his two brothers, Donny (Linda) Price and Ronny (Lynda) Price both of Rupert, Idaho; step-sons, Gary (Heather) Mittan of Great Falls, Montana and John (Tammy) Mittan of Alliance; and his step-daughter, Lorretta (Phillip) Hartzer of Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren who loved him dearly. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 18 at 10:00 a.m. at the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery at Alliance.
