James D. Lockridge, 69, died December 26, 2013 at his rural Alliance home.
He was born in Alliance on February 23, 1944 to Relph W. and Agnes D. (Winten) Lockridge. Jim graduated in 1962 from Alliance High School. He was a lifelong farmer and member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was also a member of the American Legion and had served in the Nebraska Army National Guard.
He is survived by his sister, Donna Osborn of Alliance, his nieces, Mary Rae (Greg) Broekmeir of Kearney, NE, Genie Hood of Alliance, Anna (Gary) Rammel and Joan (Tom) Abbott of Tetonia, ID and his nephew, Randal (Teri) Osborn of Alliance and his great-nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his brother and sister-in-law, Relph S. and Mary Ann Lockridge, and his nieces husband, Ted Hood.
Memorial services will be Friday, January 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Lou Nollette officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Wake services will be Thursday, Jan. 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the church.
Memorials may be given to Holy Rosary Church, St. Agnes Academy or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
