AGNES E. MILLER, 89, CHADRON

Agnes MillerFuneral services for Agnes E. Miller of Chadron, Nebraska will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Chamberlain Chapel with Dr. Russ Seger officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

Agnes Erma (Manchester) Miller passed away on November 20, 2013 at the age of 89 at the Chadron Community Hospital.

Agnes was born on July 16, 1924, to Olin and Elsie (Kraut) Manchester. She joined two older brothers, Lawrence and Wayne. Later, two sisters, Bonnie and Mary Lou joined the family.

The family farmed south of the Chadron State Park until 1944, when they moved into Chadron.

Agnes married Henry Miller, in 1948 and to this union was born to children, Douglas Miller, of Chadron and Linda Michaelson of Hay Springs.

Agnes worked hard and enjoyed being outdoors where she loved to fish, garden, and even mow the lawn, which she did up until two years ago.

Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Miller, parents Olin and Elsie and brothers, Lawrence and Wayne.

She is survived by her sisters Bonnie (Lyle) Goodman and Mary Lou Schommer, sister-in-law Arlene Miller, her son Doug Miller, her daughter Linda (Terry) Michaelson, four grandchildren, Lonnie and Eric Miller, Nicki (Keith) Dangleis, Codi Markey (Fiancé Charles Flama) and three great grandchildren, Alex, Grayson, and Caleb, along with nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE, 69337.
