Ima Jean Mischnick, 71, passed away on May 19, 2017 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
She was born on May 3, 1946 to Leroy and Mildred (Roland) Taylor in Nebraska.
Ima Jean is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob”, Alliance, NE; sons, John Jr. (Lori) Prelle, Hemingford, NE, Chad (Evon) Prelle, Alliance, NE, Chris, Haggerman, NM, Tad, Alliance, NE; daughters, Stella (Jim) Coldiron, Harlan, KY, Darla (Dennis) Maynard, Aurora, NE; brothers, Richard, Merle, Dennis, Gary, and Aaron; sisters, Bonnie, Francis, Dorothy, Sheryl, and Kathy; 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Mildred Taylor; son, Jared Prelle; brothers, Jack and Marshall; sisters, Marilyn and Alice.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 10 am at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1024 Box Butte Ave in Alliance. Burial will be held at the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery, 2610 County Rd 57, Alliance, NE.
