“Steve” Stephen Charles Orr, 67

“Steve” Stephen Charles Orr, 67, of Rapid City, South Dakota, formerly of Rushville and Chadron Nebraska, passed away in his home Thursday, October 20th 2016. His spirit is carried on by his son Jason, his wife Maya and two sons of Sidney Neb.; daughter Andrea, her husband Davor and two sons of Bountiful Utah; son Bradley of Melbourne Australia; parents Leo and Rose Gordon Neb.; brother Monte of Hay Springs Neb.; sister Donella of Fort Calhoun Neb., and friends of every walk of life. He will be reunited with his birth mother, Faye Mitchell Orr, in the great beyond.
He loved riding his Honda Goldwing motorcycle through the Black Hills with his girlfriend, having coffee with friends, taking daily walks through the city park and fixing anything that was broken. He lived a vigorous life, full of fun and laughter, until the end of his thirty-year battle with diabetes. He was a skilled pharmacist for all of his working career, and was a life long learner.
Family and friends will celebrate his life during a service held Thursday October, 27th at 10:00am within Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron, Nebraska.
