Delwayne Henry Schultz 79, passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2016, at his home in Crawfordville, Fla. Delwayne was a former resident of Alliance, Ne.
He was born August 8, 1937 to Wayne and Dorice (Classen) Schultz in Wausa.
He is survived by his children Allan (Kim) Schultz, Thomas (Jeanna) Schultz, Ina (Mark) Hofmann, Wendy (Joseph) Wieger-Fuller, four brothers, Bruce Schultz and three sisters, Barbara Birchard, Lucinda (Dave) Bauers, and Wanda (Gale) Kincheloe; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Dorice Schultz, two sisters Beverly Schultz and Trudy Briggs, son-in-law Rick Wieger, and grandson Thomas Stanlee Schultz.
Delwayne worked for the BNSF railroad until his retirement in 1999. His hobbies were fishing, scrollsaw woodwork and spending time with his family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to your local Memory Support Unit or nursing home.
A memorial service will be at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2090 Emerson Ave., Alliance at 10am on Sept. 30.
