She graduated from Rushville High School in 1941 and went to work for JC Penny in Rushville. She later worked for Stockmen’s National Bank.

Pearle loved to dance and when she danced with Gerald at the old theater building in Rushville, he was off the market. They were united in marriage on June 8, 1947. To this union were born two daughters, Ginger and Jill.

Pearle enjoyed gardening, growing her numerous varieties of flowers, and spending time with her family and many friends. Her coffee pot was always on and she loved visiting over her kitchen table. Christmas with family and friends was always filled with good food, laughter, and fun memories for her. She truly loved her home and never wanted to leave it for long periods.

She volunteered at the Sheridan County Fair for several years checking in the Flower exhibits. She was a 4-H leader and was ta president of Cow Belles.
