Thelma D. Groce, 83, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Highland Park Care Center in Alliance, Nebraska.
She was born March 17, 1932 at Pine Ridge, South Dakota to Oliver and Louise (Pablo) Swallow.
Blessed and grateful for having shared her life are her survivors; husband of 58 years, Marvin Groce of Alliance; her children, Bill (Andrea) Grooms of Oglala, South Dakota, Tess Hinn of Rushville, and Nancy (John) Fletcher of Alliance; and her step-son, Mike Groce and girls. She is also survived by her grandchildren, LuWana (Louie) Janis and girls, Gilbert (Shannon) Grooms and their daughters Griffen & Eva, Lex Grooms and his son Henry, Arron (Lindsey) Grooms and their daughter Lyla, Rob Mendoza and family, Rachel Grooms, Emilee Reina and her children Robert & Sissy, Casey (Kylee) Hinn, Blake Hinn, Tyrel (Sarah) Clark and their son Lucas, and Witt (Cassidy) Clark and their daughter Aubrey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her infant son Marvin Gerald Groce, brothers, Walt and Herb Swallow, and her sister, Shirley Wilson.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery at Alliance.
Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
