Carrie Grumbles, 65, of Minatare, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff.
Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with Pastor Ed Hunzeker officiating.

Carrie was born October 15, 1948, at Sterling, Colorado to Frank and Marie (Younger) Mitchell. She married Martin Grumbles on September 20, 1967, at Denver, Colorado. They made their home in Thornton, Colorado until 1977, when they moved to Minatare, Nebraska.
She worked many campaigns for Western Sugar in the Gering tear lab. She loved to garden and take care of her family.
Survivors include her husband, Martin Grumbles; son, Martin Jr. (Melissa) Grumbles; daughter, Linda Fisher; son, Jim Grumbles; son, John (Darla) Grumbles; daughter, Gail (Paul) Hobday; daughter, Tammy Green; father, Frank Mitchell; brother, Dave (Rita) Mitchell; brother, Don Mitchell; sister, Marcia (Larry) Arnold; brother, Bobby (Shari) Mitchell; brother, Darrell (Marilyn) Mitchell; brother, Dewey Mitchell; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Mitchell; sister, Patricia Mitchell; and an infant sister.
