Ronnie Lee Arcoren, 56, of Minatare, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 26, 2014, in is home. Ronnie Lee Arcoren left to be with our sweet Lord and his beloved wife Sally, his father Clyde Arcoren Sr. and his brother Rick Arcoren.
His funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 2, 2014, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Gering with Father Gerald Harr officiating. Interment will follow in the East Lawn Cemetery in Minatare with military honors provided by the Nebraska Army National Guard.
A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Ronnie Arcoren Memorial Fund. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com
Ronnie was born June 19, 1957, in North Platte, Nebraska to Clyde & Camelia Arcoren. He attended school in Scotts Bluff County. He joined the Army and received an Honorable Discharge. He worked with his father in the family business, as well as worked for BNSF.
He met his soul mate Sally and which they married after a short time.
Ron enjoyed football, playing cards, being with his friends and family barbequing and spending time at the lake.
Son, brother, uncle and friend, you are sadly missed, and will remember all the fun and wonderful memories that we were fortunate to make together. You will be forever in our hearts. Until we see each other again.
Survivors include his mother Camelia Arcoren; sisters Celeste (Vince) Sanchez and Sheila (Eli) Martinez; niece Dezi Martinez, great-nephew Demetrious Gomez, nephew Austin (Christy) Martinez, great-nephew and great-niece Cruz and Tosh; stepchildren which he called his own, Lisa, Becky and Steven Rangler.
He was preceded in death by his wife/soul mate Sally Arcoren, father Clyde Arcoren Sr., brother Rick Arcoren and great niece Jaynada Moreno.
