Verl Wulf, 70, of Hay Springs, Nebraska, passed away on April 23, 2014 at Pioneer Manor in Hay Springs.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Grace Community Church in Johnstown, Colorado.

Verl was born on August 6, 1943, in Milliken, Colorado to Harold and Bonnie Mae Wulf. As a child he grew up in Milliken and was educated in Milliken public school.
On April 23, 1974, he married Karen Dyk in Idaho. The couple lived in Colorado, where he was a long distance truck driver. In 1990, they moved to Walden, Colorado and started a towing service.
While in Walden, he was involved in Search and Rescue, became an EMT, and was on the hospital board. In 2008 Verl and Karen moved to Hay Springs, Nebraska. Verl enjoyed animals, especially the goats and sheep, and gardening.
He is survived by his wife Karen of Hay Springs, Nebraska; his mother Bonnie of Greeley, Colorado; two brothers: Richard (Peggy) of Loveland, Colorado; Jim (Kathy) of Missouri; three sisters: Betty Burke of Texas; Irma (Richard) McMillan of Arizona; Danette (Dave) Crestin of Milliken, Colorado; Stepdaughter Christine Blem, Stepson Scott (Brenda) Blehm; and three grandchildren.
Verl was preceded in death by his father Harold, and two brothers Gary Lee and Earl.
