Memorial services for Amanda Beth Baker, 24, of Scottsbluff, NE who died Friday, February 16, 2014 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Monument Bible Church in Scottsbluff with Pastors Jake Roberts and Wayne Mundell officiating.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Amada Baker Memorial Fund in care of Platte Valley Bank. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com.
Amanda was born June 10, 1989 in Newberg, OR to David and Julie (Wolf) Baker. She graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 2008 with national honors and was attending Western Nebraska Community College where she was studying to get her LPN degree. She was currently employed as a corrections officer at the Scotts Bluff County Detention Center.
Amanda is survived by her son David Baker II, mother and step-father Julie and Randy Baszler of Minatare; sister Cassandra Baker, brothers Isaiah Baker and Noah Baker; grandparents Carrel Wayne and Eva Lack of Vancouver, WA and Willetta Baker of Newberg, OR .
She was preceded in death by her father David, an aunt Cindy Lou Wolf and Grandfather Clarence “Tunie” Baker
