Early in life he learned the art of Shotokan and developed a passion for martial arts.  He had a great interest in photography and spent many hours taking pictures of nature, people, and anything that his camera could focus on.  Zack loved creating drawings, paintings, computer graphics, sculptures, and mixed media pieces.  He loved the outdoors, hanging out with friends and family, listening to music, and playing Magic: the Gathering, Minecraft, and many other games.  He was an innovator, creator, and artist.

Zack’s Lakota Sioux heritage was central to his character and he was proud to be Native American.
