William Lee Macke, 69, died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at his home in Alliance.
He was born in Mullen, NE on February 16, 1944 to William A. and Bertha Elizabeth “Betty” (Law) Macke.
He married Cetia Flowers on August 21, 1993. They moved from Ogallala, NE to Alliance in August 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Cetia, his children, Christine Macke of Scottsbluff, Will Preston of Scottsbluff, Thomas Macke of Alliance, Michelle Parker of Benedict, KS and Clay Lee Flowers of Granbury, TX, his 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sisters and brother, Sister Jean Macke of North Platte, Peg Bostron of Mullen, Joann Macke of Omaha and Jim Macke of Blanket, TX. He is also survived by his best friend and companion, his dog Bailey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert and an infant daughter.
Memorial services will be Friday, August 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Lou Nollette officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Cedarview Cemetery, Mullen, NE.
A memorial for will be divided between the Hospice program in Alliance and Ogallala. Memorials may be sent in care of Thomas Macke, 1405 Duncan Avenue, Alliance, NE 69301.
